Welcome to Links Masters

SCHEDULE/SCORECARD             (Last Updated  7/1/2014) Hello and Welcome to LinksMasters.

Below is a simple description of who we are and what we do.  We have an open policy for all club member sponsored new members and after reading the information, if you have any questions concerning membership please feel free to email me at: frankjms@pacbell.net

CLUB HISTORY:  We have been an NCGA approved Associate Club for over 30 years.

MEMBERSHIP:  Membership in the club includes NCGA Membership, along with handicap, and all other NCGA benefits.  Our members are from as close as the East Bay area and as far away as Sacramento and Santa Barbara.  Our Club Indexes range from 7 to 29 with a Median of 17.5.  We usually have three Flights of 10 or more members each determined by a blind draw.  Membership cost in 2013-2014 is $105 per year for new members and $95 for returning members payable before 12/15/13.  If you do not have a NCGA# we will get you one.  NCGA now allows us to bring new members into our club on October 1 for membership play the following year until December of that year.

SCHEDULE: In order to avoid bad weather we play our Club Championship tournament in September with our year running from September to August.  Members must play a determined # of tournaments to qualify.  This year (2014) we will have a 2 day Championship at Rancho Solano.

TOURNAMENTS: We meet once every month on a Saturday and play a variety of courses throughout the Bay Area.  We also have 1 or 2 (per year) two day tournaments in the Reno, San Louis Obispo, or Monterey area.  Member sponsored guest are invited to our tournaments.  Prizes are awarded each tournament funded by a small contribution added to the green fees.  We also participate in NCGA sponsored events such as Two Man, Four Man, or Senior Qualifier events. Tournament Schedule for 2014 can be found clicking here or on the link above.

DINNER:  We have an annual dinner, free to all members.  It includes dinner and prize awards for yearly winners. Everyone takes home a prize.  The event is usually held in February.

CLUB GOAL: Provide a friendly environment where you can play and enjoy the game at whatever level you choose with the ultimate goal of everyone having a good time.  The only stress we have is attempting to put that white ball in the hole with the fewest number of strokes.
